Researched under Professor Uri Shumlak of UW Aero and Astro. Lead development of a 1,500 Degree Celsius heat-source for calibrating dual-wavelength pyrometers needed  for thermal characterization on electrodes in Z-Pinch based fusion thrusters. Implications include better understandings of heat transfer in fusion and electric propulsion systems.
